Who are we?
Based in Canyon Crest Academy in San Diego, California, our student-ran business strives to contribute to the world by fusing our greatest passions: art and environmental advocacy.
As surfers, divers, campers, hikers, bird watchers, and proud San Diegans, it's impossible to ignore our love for nature and the ocean, and the ongoing environmental crisis that is destroying our home. Through Shimmer, we have the opportunity to make a change by recycling beach trash, donating % of profits to environmental relief foundations, and spreading awareness of our present-day armageddon.
By donating to two seperate environmental organizations, Surfrider Foundation and Arbor Day Foundation, we are able to contribute to environmental policy as well as relief. We have calculated the carbon-footprint of our resin products, and are proud to donate over triple the cost of its impact on the environment to these amazing foundations.
We're thrilled to share this experience with you and our customers, as we help defeat pollution, global warming, and environmental degradation, all while receiving ocean-inspired coasters or jewelry! We hope our unique designs bring joy to your everyday lives, and help inspire the world to make a difference!
